To ensure effective fire prevention and protection

• Make all your employees "Fire Conscious" Observe one day as Fire safety Day every year.

• Beware of probable source / cause of fire.

• Keep the Fire Escape Route clear.

• Comply with all safety measures.  Provide all fire safety measures and personal protective clothing / gadgets.

• Regular housekeeping keep potential harzards at bay.

• Always be vigilant and alert.

• when in doubt about any person contact security department.

Be prepared

• Be familiar with the alarm sounds/modes of the emergency sirens.

• Know the escape route.

• Be familiar with the locations and methods of handing fire fighting equipment.

• Train all your staff in Basic fire fighting and in calling the assistance of Fire Service.

In case of fire

• Break MCP.

• Inform Fire Control Room (101).

• Alert every one.

• Try to extinguish the fire.

In case you are required to exit/escape in emergency

• Follow the instructions conveyed through the PA system.

• Put emergency escape masks and exit through the safest and nearest in an orderly manner.

• Assemble at the designated assembly points outside the building.

• Do not use or tamper with fire fighting and fire detection equipments.

• Do not block access to fire fighting equipments.

• Do not remove Fire Extinguishers, hoses, Nozzles, form their designated places unncessarily.

• Do not keep fire extinguishers un-refilled/Uncharged .

• Do not panic and create chaos during evacuation.

• Do not overcrowd during evacuation

• Do not use lifts to escape as you may get stuck up

• Do not take refuge in toilets / pantry.

• Do not indulge in searching your belongings.
